CENTRAL VALLEY, CA – T.V. and radio talk show host, Sean Hannity, is asking everyone to take part in the second Sean Hannity’s Great American Blood Drive to keep the San Joaquin Valley’s blood supply strong as we begin a new year.  New and returning donors are invited to give Monday, January 5th through Friday, January 9th at a Central California Blood Center near them. Sean has taped blood drive radio spots and will call in during the week to encourage donations.

Donors at all locations will receive a commemorative Great American Blood Drive T-shirt, have a chance to win special thank you gifts from Sean himself, and one lucky donor will receive a LifeSource Whole-House Water System. In addition, all donors will receive a variety of discounts from Valley businesses for dining, recreation, entertainment and services.

“We are honored Sean Hannity, as very busy as he is, has again partnered with the Central California Blood Center at this particularly challenging time of the year – blood donation wise,” said Dean Eller, President and CEO of the Central California Blood Center. “His commitment to help is tremendous.  We are also pleased to honor blood donors as the “Great Americans” they are; when they give selflessly to save the life of someone they don’t even know. Special thanks to LifeSource for their generous support.”

Sean Hannity is the host of the “Sean Hannity Show.”  Within two years, his show’s phenomenal popularity soared, and it is now broadcast on 300 of the most influential news/talk stations in America.  Sean is also the host of the highly successful Fox News Channel’s “Hannity and Colmes.”  He is a New York Times bestselling author and the “2003 R&R Syndicated News/Talk Personality of the Year.”  His show airs on weekday afternoons from 2 to 5 p.m. on KMJ580 NewsTalk.

Inga Barks of Bakersfield is a conservative radio talk show host on KMJ 580 whose shows can be heard Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Donors should eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within 4 hours prior to their donation. Donors can give blood every eight weeks.
